Optimum Design of Reinforced Concrete Folded Plate Structures to ACI 318-11 Using Soft Computing Algorithm

چکیده

In this paper, an optimum design algorithm is presented for reinforced concrete folded plate structures. The provisions are implemented by ACI 318-11 and 318.2-14, which quite complex to apply. variables divided into three classes. first class refers the involving plates, number of supports, thicknesses configurations longitudinal transverse reinforcement, span length each plate, angle inclination inclined plates. second consists auxiliary members’ (beams diaphragms) depth breadth shear reinforcement. third can be supporting columns, involve dimensions column along axis objective function considered as total cost structure, concrete, formwork that required construct building. With such formulation, problem becomes a discrete nonlinear programming problem. Its solution obtained using different soft computing techniques, artificial bee colony, differential evolution, enhanced beetle antennae search. enhancement suggested makes use population beetles instead one, case in standard algorithm. novel improvement, search became very efficient. Two structures designed proposed It observed evolution performed better than other two metaheuristics achieved cheapest solution.
